Zweck is an internal Group Services division that partners withXelon Technologies. We are looking to recruit Commercial Electricians for our partnerXT Electrical.

Our Electrical contracting arm of Xelon Technologies, XT Electrical, specialises in commercial contracting works, from high end commercial interior fit outs and construction projects, multi-level refurbishments to industrial fit outs. We are now seeking trade qualified and experienced Commercial Electricians to join the team and deliver on exciting upcoming Electrical Commercial Projects. This role will be based out of our Tingalpa office in Brisbane.

About the Role

In this role, you will deliver projects in a team environment, whilst ensuring the highest safety and quality standards are maintained.

Your duties and responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Working onsite with the wider team and under the nominated site supervisor
  • Completing tasks designated by the site supervisor
  • Ability to work unsupervised
  • Work according to Group's safety, quality and environmental initiatives ensuring operational activities are conducted in compliance with WHS, QA & Environmental legislation and the company's Code of conduct and Group Policies.

About You

To be successful in this role you should be highly motivated with the following:

  • 3-4 years experience as a licenced electrician working on commercial projects such as commercial new builds and refurbishments
  • Experience in working as part of a team to who can work together to deliver successful outcomes, whilst creating a positive work environment
  • Ability to communicate effectively with project managers, site staff and key stakeholders
  • Ability to read and interpret plans
  • Knowledge of electrical regulations, by-laws and codes
  • Strong work ethic with high safety and quality work standards
  • Flexibility to work additional hours as required
  • Current Construction Industry White Card
  • Current QLD Electrical Workers Licence
  • Current QLD Open C Class Driver Licence
