Speech Pathologist

About the role

Permanent full time opportunity to provide professional leadership and operational management, clinical practice supervision and strategic leadership for a team of Speech Pathologists and clinical assistants.

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

• Independently deliver advanced speech pathology clinical and consultancy services across a broad range of clinical areas in accordance with accepted professional practices, standards and principles.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver and support instrumental clinics including videofluoroscopic swallowing studies and fibreoptic endoscopic evaluation of swallowing (FEES).
• Provide high level advice to professional and operational supervisors, relevant service managers and other relevant stakeholders on leading service quality and improvement activities, clinical service development and delivery, and contributing to formal research.
