The Opportunity
We are seeking passionate and committed Early Learning Centre Teachers to join our casual pool at Kingswood College. This role is ideal for qualified educators who are available to work on a casual basis and are committed to delivering high-quality early childhood education.
As a casual ELC Teacher, you will contribute to a nurturing, inclusive and engaging environment that fosters a love of learning and supports the development of our youngest learners. You will implement developmentally appropriate programs aligned with the National Quality Framework and the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and inclusive learning experiences that support children's wellbeing and development
- Build warm, respectful relationships with children and families
- Support compliance with all relevant frameworks and early childhood regulations
- Promote a safe, child-centred environment aligned with the College's values and commitment to child safety
- Collaborate with a dedicated team of early childhood professionals
- Contribute to a calm, purposeful, and joyful learning atmosphere
Successful applicants will:
- Hold a Bachelor of Early Childhood Education or equivalent
- Be registered with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT)
- Demonstrate a sound understanding of early childhood pedagogy and curriculum
- Hold current First Aid qualifications including HLTAID012, CPR, and anaphylaxis management
- Be passionate about working with young children and committed to their growth and wellbeing
- Pose excellent communication and organisational skills
- Work effectively both independently and within a collaborative team
