Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable and punctual Kitchen Hand to assist in daily food preparation and cleaning duties. This role is ideal for someone who values teamwork, understands the importance of food safety, and takes pride in maintaining a clean and organised kitchen.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with food preparation under the guidance of the kitchen supervisor.
  • Ensure all work areas, utensils, and equipment are cleaned and sanitised.
  • Wash, dry, and store dishes and kitchen tools.
  • Handle food safely in line with health regulations.
  • Maintain cleanliness of floors, benches, and storage areas.
  • Support kitchen team in serving meals when required.
  • Follow all workplace health and safety guidelines.

Skills & Attributes

  • Understanding of food safety and hygiene practices (training can be provided).
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team.
  • Good communication and willingness to learn.
  • Able to follow instructions and work efficiently.
  • Need to be able to complete paperwork required by the kitchen.

Employment Details

  • Type: Casual (2–4 days per week, Monday–Thursday)
  • Hours: To be confirmed based on operational needs
