Position Summary:

This role supports the Technical Lead in three key areas: Client Engagement, Project Delivery, and Internal Operations. It acts as a liaison between the business and its clients, ensures project delivery remains on track, and assists with the day-to-day tools and systems the company relies on to operate effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Engagement and Liaison

  • Represent in meetings with clients and stakeholders, including board members
  • Provide clear and concise project updates and business insights
  • Foster strong relationships with key clients, with a focus on transparency, responsiveness, and trust
  • Ensure client expectations are understood and met across the business

Project Delivery Oversight

  • Monitor the status of all active projects to ensure they are progressing as scheduled
  • Coordinate with developers and team leads to confirm priorities are clear and aligned with business goals
  • Flag potential blockers early and support timely resolution
  • Ensure project documentation, timelines, and internal updates are consistently maintained

Internal Operations and Software Oversight

  • Manage and support the internal business tools (e.g. Harvest, Slack, Google Workspace, Xero)
  • Assist with the preparation and review of invoices and time reports
  • Help refine operational workflows and ensure they are followed across the team
  • Contribute to internal documentation, SOPs, and process improvement initiatives

Key Requirements:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Proven organisational skills with an ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Experience working with delivery or project management tools such as Jira, Trello, or Asana
  • Comfortable using cloud-based business tools, including Harvest, Google Workspace, Slack, and Xero
  • Professional and reliable, with high attention to detail and follow-through

Desirable Experience:

  • Prior experience in a similar role within a digital agency, SaaS business, or software development environment
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies, sprint planning, and delivery tracking
  • A general understanding of the software development lifecycle (particularly Laravel-based projects)
