Rural Manager or Senior Rural Manager
We were founded in 1898 by farmers looking to support each other's businesses and give rural communities access to fair financing. Now as the world's leading food & agribusiness bank, Rabobank invests in a sustainable food future for all, supporting the production of more food, using less of the world's precious resources.
Our cooperative values mean that we are accountable to only our clients and their communities - not to shareholder demands like many other banks, so we can focus 100% on our mission of helping farmers grow sustainably.
About The Role
Due to an internal promotion, we are seeking a new Rural Manager to join our Horsham branch on a full-time, permanent basis.
We are looking for people with:
- Ambition to learn and grow further by taking the next step in your career.
- In a similar role; looking for an organisation with purpose, a deeper connection with the team and clients.
- Residing in Horsham or surrounds and well connected in the community, or perhaps you are willing to relocate for the right role and love rural community living.
Reporting to the Area Manager, you will manage a portfolio of rural clients, in accordance with bank and branch goals for profitability, client satisfaction and credit quality. You will naturally be relationship driven, focussing on how you can value add to your client portfolio through innovative ideas and your passion for the rural sector.
This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a unique business culture and help local farmers maintain and grow their business whilst they set themselves up for future succession.
What We Are Looking For
- Experience in a banking account management (ideally Rural) role or similar
- Proven ability in achieving high levels of customer service.
- Experience within farming or agribusiness
- Credit and financial analysis skills
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
