The Role

We are currently seeking a fully qualified and experienced mobile plant Heavy Duty Fitter. This is a varied role, responsible for carrying out a range of mechanical and fitting activities to plant machines and equipment, sub-assemblies and manufactured parts using a range of processes, tools and machines.

We have positions available for immediate start that include the onsite/FIFO work and Perth-based duties from our Workshop.

Skills and Experience

To be successful in this position you must/have:

  • Relevant trade qualification
  • Ability to work to maintenance repair schedules
  • Experience in the maintenance of component rebuilds
  • A positive attitude and commitment towards safety
  • A willingness to learn and continually develop
  • Be a team player and quality focused
  • Self-motivated and able to work unsupervised

Requirement

  • Willing and able to pass a pre-employment medical/drug and alcohol
  • Willing and able to provide a national police check if required
  • Current driver's license

Desirable but not essential:

  • Experience working on Wirtgen equipment
  • Forklift ticket
  • Welding experience
  • Current HR Licence
