ABOUT THE ROLE

The Mort & Co Graduate Program is a comprehensive two-year program designed to set graduates up with the skills, experiences, and know how to succeed as future industry leaders.

The rotational program will see you enjoy rotations across the entire Mort & Co integrated supply chain, providing the opportunity to gain experience in core feedlot operations, complementary businesses and business services in all in the one organisation.

We understand that each graduate has different passions and interests, and that each graduate's journey will look different. To support you in following your own journey, we offer a program that is tailored to you through a series of elective rotations that allow you to deeply explore the areas of the organisation and industry you are passionate about.

Throughout the program you will be supported with tailored professional and personal development opportunities including one to one mentoring, coaching, networking and formal training to ensure you are supported to bring out your best and forge your career path.

ABOUT YOU

To be considered for the Mort & Co Graduate Program you will hold a Bachelor's Degree in Agribusiness/Agriculture or a related discipline, or be due to complete a relevant degree by the end of 2025. You will also have:

  • A strong passion for the Agriculture/Red Meat/Feedlotting industry combined with a commitment to your ongoing development and growth.
  • Strong communication skills and intermediate computer literacy.
  • The ability to work both autonomously and as part of a dynamic, fast-paced team.
  • High level of organisation and time management skills.
  • A commitment to upholding safety and animal welfare standards.

OTHER INFORMATION TO KNOW

We are currently welcoming applications for the January 2026 intake to the Mort & Co Graduate program. Applications will close at the end of August so ensure you get your application.  The selection phase of the recruitment process will commence the first week in September with an intention to inform successful applicants by the end of September.

As Mort & Co have a strong commitment to health and safety, for the benefit of all employees, all site roles will require you to complete a pre-employment medical (including drug and alcohol screening), requiring successful completion prior to a formal offer being made.
