About the role

Jana Beauty is seeking a full-time and/or part-time Beauty Therapist to join our thriving salon located in Subiaco WA. On joining our team you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional beauty services and building long-term client relationships, contributing to the overall success and growth of our salon

What you'll be doing

• Performing a wide range of skin and beauty treatments, including advanced facial treatments, hair removal, eyebrow shaping , manicures, pedicures and spray tanning
• Providing personalised consultations to understand clients' needs and recommend suitable treatment programmes and products
• Maintaining a high standard of hygiene and safety protocols in the salon
• Actively participating in team meetings and ongoing training to stay up-to-date with industry trends and techniques
• Contributing to the creation of a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere for our clients
• Assisting with the general maintenance and organisation of the salon
• Front of house duties, email/phone enquiries, client follow-up, merchandising/display, stock checks

What we're looking for in our new team member

• A recognised qualification in Beauty/Dermal Therapy
• At least 5 years of hands on experience working confidently as a Beauty /Dermal Therapist with a strong skin focus
• Diagnose skin concerns and create tailored treatment plans
• Confidently perform advanced facial services including but not limited to microdermabrasion, skin peels, skin needling, radio frequency, LED light therapy and a comprehensive facial massage technique
• An understanding of cosmeceutical skin products and their application for correcting various skin concerns
• Advanced waxing technique with both strip and hot wax for body and face
• Artistic flair in applying corrective brow and lash services
• Confidence in spray tanning, natural manicure and pedicure(no artificial nails)
• Knowledge in IPL services but not essential
• Ability to be proactive and self motivated whether working alone or with the team
• Accountability for improved performance at all times
• Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to provide a personalised and exceptional client experience
• A passion for real skin results and loyal client relationships
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety
• A passion for the beauty industry and a desire to continuously develop your skills and knowledge
• Availability to work full-time/part-time, including Saturdays and late evening
• Impeccable grooming and presentation
