About the role

Ultra Tune Currimundi is seeking an experienced Mechanic to join our team in Currimundi, Queensland. As a Mechanic, you will be responsible for providing high-quality automotive repair and maintenance services to our customers. This is a full-time position, and the successful candidate will be based at our Currimundi location.

What you'll be doing

  1. Diagnosing, repairing and servicing a wide range of vehicles, including cars, 4x4 and light commercial vehicles
  2. Performing routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tyre rotations, and brake inspections
  3. Troubleshooting and resolving mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues
  4. Ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety
  5. Providing excellent customer service
  6. Maintaining detailed records of all work performed

What we're looking for

  1. Formal qualifications in automotive mechanics or a relevant trade
  2. Certificate III qualification in automotive mechanics is required
  3. Minimum 3 years of experience as a Mechanic in the automotive industry
  4. Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
  5. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality work
  6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  7. Good communication and customer service skills
  8. Must have Australian work rights
  9. Current car licence is required
  10. Air conditioning and roadworthy qualifications are preferred, but not essential
