Role Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate daily activities of demolition crews on commercial and residential sites
  • Ensure all works comply with safety regulations, environmental guidelines, and company procedures
  • Interpret demolition plans
  • Liaise with project managers, subcontractors, and Clients
  • Conduct daily toolbox talks and site safety inspections
  • Maintain accurate site diary records, incident reports and site inductions
  • Manage demolition equipment, tools, and supplies efficiently
  • Mentor and support demolition workers in daily activities, promoting a culture of teamwork and safety mindfulness

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Supervisor or Foreman in commercial demolition is preferable
  • Strong understanding of structural demolition processes, methods, and equipment
  • Knowledge of applicable safety legislation and environmental regulations
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and collaborative problem-solving skills
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to jobsite safety

Qualifications:

  • Construction White Card
  • Current Driver's Licence
  • First Aid / CPR Certification
  • Heavy Equipment Operator experience/licenses
