Do work that matters

On any given day, you will:
  • Develop and execute external communications strategies and campaigns to inform media and other stakeholders about the Group's strategy as it relates to Technology, including artificial intelligence.
  • Work with the General Manager and Business Partner to support the Group Executive and senior leaders of the Technology teams on communications initiatives that support strategy delivery.
  • Provide insights and informed advice to senior leaders on stakeholder engagement, media engagement and the external operating environment.
  • Support the Business Partner to determine and implement responses to issues.
  • Work with colleagues across Corporate Affairs to ensure a coordinated approach to internal and external announcements and campaigns.
  • Establish campaign or project performance indicators and reporting relating to communications activities to drive and track performance.
We'd love to hear from people who have:
  • Significant experience in corporate or public affairs, communications, media or an agency role developing, implementing and delivering internal and external communication campaigns and activities for a large business.
  • Demonstrated success in supporting a technology function (highly advantageous)
  • Experience in leading external communications activities including proactively and reactively interacting with media, peak bodies and other external stakeholders.
  • Experience in leading internal communications, people and culture communications programs.
  • Experience in providing strategic counsel to senior business stakeholders.
  • Strong business acumen combined with exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • A tertiary qualification in business, commerce, communications, journalism or a relevant discipline.
