Brisbane, Queensland, Australia Five Good Friends Full time
Hi there We're Five Good Friends.

We're an approved aged care and NDIS service provider helping our Members (others call them clients) live vibrantly in their own homes. We wrap a care team around them and their families, supported by innovative software that coordinates in the background—so our teams can focus on what matters most: delivering exceptional care.

We're proud to be a place where purpose meets impact. Every day, our work contributes to helping people live their best lives, and that starts with our people.

As demand grows, we're expanding our Welcome Team to ensure every new Member has the right support from day one. That's where you come in.

About the Role

We're looking for a Workforce Planner to join our Welcome Team. You'll play a key role in matching Helpers (our carers) with new Members during onboarding—creating the perfect fit so Members receive consistent, high-quality care and support.

This role is all about coordination, communication, and problem-solving. You'll manage requests, plan rosters, and collaborate across teams to make sure everything runs smoothly.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Managing and responding to Helper Request Tickets, ensuring timely updates and action tracking.
  • Matching Helpers to Members based on preferences, verification requirements, and compatibility using our internal systems and FGF App.
  • Communicating with Helpers and Members throughout the matching process, providing regular updates and encouraging engagement.
  • Planning and maintaining effective rosters, coordinating multiple Helpers where needed to ensure continuity of service.
  • Collaborating with internal teams—including Care Planners, Onboarding, Rostering, and Recruitment—for seamless service delivery.
  • Monitoring and maintaining accurate Helper and Member data to support reporting and informed care planning.
  • Providing back-up rostering support and assisting with emergency or temporary visit needs when required.

About You
  • Undergraduate degree or relevant qualification in HR, Community Services, or Health Sciences (highly regarded but not essential).
  • Customer service experience.
  • Experience in care coordination within home care or NDIS services is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills with a professional and friendly approach.
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Collaborative team player who also works well independently.
  • Problem-solver who enjoys finding innovative solutions.
  • Values that align naturally with Five Good Friends' mission and culture.

What's in It for You
  • Competitive salary package that recognises your skills and experience.
  • Flexible work options—based in South Brisbane with the ability to work from home a few days per week.
  • Annual $500 health and wellbeing allowance.
  • Additional annual leave accrual after your second year.
  • Access to our Pandemic Leave policy and the option to purchase extra leave.
  • Free confidential counselling through our Employee Assistance Program.
  • Parental leave top-ups for eligible caregivers, including superannuation support.
  • One discounted Five Good Friends membership plan for a loved one—valued at over $7,000/year.
  • A workplace with an employee engagement score 17% above industry average.
  • And after 5 years of continuous service—a trip to Okinawa, Japan, the community that inspired Five Good Friends.
