A rewarding career opportunity exists for a Project Manager with a leading multidisciplinary building company specialising in commercial construction and also performs fitout and refurbishment; with supporting divisions in the manufacture of custom joinery, and acoustic glazing.

Quadric is a Brisbane based firm which employs over 50 direct staff, 50 contract staff, and over the last 45 years has specialised in projects generally up to $20million.  Our project portfolio includes healthcare, laboratories, prisons, airports, hotels, bars, tertiary education, corporate offices, and many more.

We are looking for applicants with experience in a cross-over between new build construction and refurbishment.

Our HSEQ systems are world class and our sustainable initiatives are well recognised.

The position will entail the management of time, cost, quality, risk, on a number of projects, including directing Contract Administrators and Site Managers, and the contracting of subcontractors.  You will join our project division of roughly 5 Project Managers, 5 Contract Administrators, and 20 Site Managers, and 10 Support Staff.

The applicant will require a sound knowledge of building practices, subcontract management, project scheduling, client / consultant liaison, site management, and contract management.  Tertiary and/or trade qualifications relevant to the role are favourable. We are searching for a professional with well-rounded construction knowledge, experience in a similar role in a diverse range of projects, and a passion for quality.

The work location is based at Quadric HQ in Fortitude Valley with regular site visits to the multiple projects around Brisbane and south-east Queensland.

Remuneration is subject to suitability of candidate but includes a salary + participation in company profit share scheme.
