Associate Dentist

About the Role

XCELLENCE DENTAL is seeking a motivated Associate Dentist to join our professional

dental team in regional Victoria. This is a full-time role on a 2–4 year term contract, offering

the opportunity to provide high-quality dental care to a growing patient base in a supportive

and modern clinical environment.

We are looking for a Dentist who is capable of delivering a wide range of clinical services

that meet our exceptional standards of patient care. While we encourage applications from

Australian citizens and permanent residents, we are open to considering sponsorship

opportunities for suitably qualified overseas candidates if necessary.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality restorative treatments such as fillings, crowns, bridges, implants, and

orthodontic procedures.

• Perform oral surgery where required, including extractions and biopsies, and issue

prescriptions in line with clinical needs.

• Provide preventative care and oral health promotion, including hygiene treatments,

fluoride applications, and patient education.

• Diagnose and manage dental conditions through thorough examinations and the use of

diagnostic tools such as x-rays.

• Design and fit removable and fixed prostheses to restore oral function and aesthetics.

• Monitor patients for oral health conditions that may be linked to general medical issues

and provide appropriate referrals when needed.

• Support and guide dental team members, including dental assistants, hygienists, and

therapists, fostering a collaborative and professional environment.

• Maintain the highest standards of patient care, ensuring comfort, safety, and clear

communication throughout treatment.

Skills & Experience Required

• Recognised dental qualification eligible for registration with the Dental Board of Australia.

• Must be currently registered with AHPRA.

• At least 1 year of relevant clinical experience as a Dentist.

• Strong clinical and diagnostic skills across a broad range of treatments.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-focused approach.

• Proficiency in more than one language will be highly regarded.

Additional Information

• This is a full-time role (38 hours per week) based in regional Victoria (postcode 3825).

• Salary: $85,000 – $110,000 per annum (commensurate with skills and experience) plus commission on billings
