Health and Physical Education Teacher

The School is seeking an enthusiastic, innovative and committed Health and Physical Education to join our School for a fixed term, one year contract commencing in January 2026.

The Health and Physical Education Teacher will teach classes to students across Years 7 to 12. The ability to teach Outdoor Education and ATAR Health Education is desirable.

This position is 1.0 FTE.

Essential Selection Criteria

  • Tertiary qualifications for teaching Health and Physical Education
  • Previous experience teaching Health and Physical Education for Years 7 to 12
  • High pedagogical standards
  • Exceptional quality pastoral care
  • Enthusiasm in developing young people
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate positive relationships with all stakeholders
  • Growth mindset and can-do attitude
  • Committed and collaborative team player
  • The ability to utilise ICT in a classroom environment

Desirable Selection Criteria

  • Previous experience teaching Outdoor Education
  • Previous Health Studies ATAR experience
  • Bronze Medallion or similar First Aid/Rescue certificate
