Our client is a unique third-generation business that has been operating in Forbes since They are known in the market for the sale and repair of agricultural machinery and equipment, specifically Kubota and Krone in Forbes and JCB in Canberra.

Reporting to the Branch Manager, our client is now seeking the services of a full-time Retail Counter Sales | Storesperson based in the Fyshwick, ACT operation.

About the Job

The key responsibilities include:

  • Counter Sales for the retail store.
  • Receiving and sending products and materials.
  • Picking, packing, and unpacking orders.
  • Loading and unloading trucks.
  • Booking transport for both interstate and local couriers.
  • Performing stock takes and cycle counts.
  • Maintaining a tidy warehouse.
  • Entering information into the Auto IT system for all warehousing, freight, and inventory reporting.
  • Following procedures and processes in a safe manner.

About You

You are safe, punctual, accurate, detail-oriented, and mechanically minded.  You can follow instructions and work procedures. You are happy to work as part of a team or independently as required.

Qualifications and Experience

  • At least 1-2 years' experience in a sales/stores role.
  • Basic computer and data entry experience.
  • A Manual Driving License is essential.
  • Cert III in Warehousing Operations is highly advantageous but not essential.
  • A forklift license is highly advantageous but not essential.
