Weighbridge Operator

Join a global market leading supply chain business with a proud history of over 70 years. We are currently seeking a Weighbridge Operator based at our Toowoomba site.

Reporting to the Northern Packing Manager your key responsibilities will include:

• Weighbridge Operations in accordance with relevant legislation, codes and regulations, organisational procedures and manufacturer's instructions.
• Manage various transport accreditation schemes, including but not limited to Grain Harvest Management Scheme, NHVAS.
• Maintain up to date Purchase and Sales Contract tonnages
• Assist with inventory management – ensuring stocks are up-to-date
• Maintain the cleanliness and accuracy of the weighbridge
• Generate weekly tickets and invoices as well as monthly statements
• Coordinate daily bookings for loads into site and liaising with clients and growers.
• Transport administration - logbook page data, Time Sheet checks.
• Assist with collection of data for various accreditations for compliance
• Liaise with truck drivers, handle enquires and follow up where required

The successful candidate will ideally have:

• Previous experience in weighbridge (is preferred)
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Experience in the MS Office suite
• Well-developed written and verbal communication skills
• High level of interpersonal and customer service skills
• Experience in the grain industry is highly advantageous
