With two thriving locations in Pacific Fair and Mermaid Waters, this is an exciting opportunity to step into a leadership role where your skills as a Head Barista / Café Manager will make an impact both in the café and beyond.

A day in the role will see you:

  • Champion culture by leading with confidence and empowering your team
  • Oversee daily operations to ensure smooth and efficient workflow
  • Train, motivate, and support our dedicated team
  • Maintain exceptional customer service standards and satisfaction
  • Develop and execute creative strategies to grow sales and profitability
  • Manage inventory, control costs, and optimise resources
  • Collaborate with the team to keep the menu fresh, relevant, and on trend
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised café environment
  • Build strong relationships with suppliers and vendors
  • Be hands-on in service when required - from making coffee to taking orders
  • Engage customers warmly, sharing menu knowledge and coffee origins
  • Handle escalated customer enquiries with professionalism

What we're looking for:

  • Previous experience as a Café Manager with a passion for hospitality
  • A growth mindset, always open to new ideas and innovation
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to deliver outstanding service to both customers and colleagues
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality and attention to detail
  • Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and coffee bean varieties (highly regarded)
