About this Role
You will be joining a dynamic team environment and be responsible for providing high quality phlebotomy services to patients. With exceptional service, underpinned by a caring, compassionate nature, you will directly enhance the patient experience.
This is a casual opportunity, with shifts generally in the mornings.
You will be based in our Parramatta clinic.
Our commitment to quality and safety is our highest priority. Applicants in patient contact roles will be required to provide evidence of immunity against specified infectious diseases as a Category A Healthcare worker.
Reporting to the Nurse Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Providing high quality phlebotomy services
- Preparing pathology rooms, including restocking the room
- Packing and dispatching samples to laboratories
- Unpacking relevant consumables
- Ensuring compliance with processes and protocols
- Other tasks as required
About You
We are seeking a phlebotomist who can demonstrate the following qualities, experience and relevant expertise:
- Certificate in Pathology or Phlebotomy
- Proficient venepuncture technique
- Highly developed organisational skills with strong attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; and
- A warm and caring approach.
