Responsibilities include:

  • Collaborate with the Design Systems team to build the next generation UI components for the Freelancer ecosystem.
  • Planning and conducting UX research projects (workshops, interviews, surveys and usability testing sessions) including defining research objectives, developing scripts and test plans, participant recruitment and conducting sessions.
  • Producing journey maps, user flows, sketches and annotated wireframes.
  • Determine information architecture and create sitemaps.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years experience of end-to-end product design. You have a track-record of tackling complex problems and delivering simple and elegant solutions for digital products.
  • Extensive experience working with Figma managing design systems. Experience with Adobe Creative Suite is also desirable.

  • Ability to work both within existing brand guidelines and on the development of new brands.

  • Strong working knowledge of frontend web technologies. You do not need to be a developer though but need to understand how things will be built.
  • Positive attitude, team player, and proactive contributor.
  • Ability to support, take direction and deliver.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Benefits:

  • Fast-track your career growth – our meritocratic culture is known for promoting from within and producing industry leaders in tech.

  • Hack-a-thons - Get hacking and programming in this quarterly company-wide event where teams create solutions to existing problems and win prizes. The 2-day event is filled with games, events, shows, food and more.
  • Our office is located in the iconic Grosvenor Place, the home of Freelancer HQ, offering weekly complimentary classes, activities, events, promotions, competitions, and deals.
