About this role

We are looking for an Early Careers Recruitment Advisor to join our Early Careers Team in Sydney.

Our Early Careers Team are passionate about engaging with university students to attract and recruit remarkable talent into Grant Thornton. We support the business on a national-level with the recruitment of our vacation program and graduate cohorts, as well as university placement and early identification programs.

This role will see you partner closely with our Sydney and Brisbane offices to deliver their early careers recruitment campaigns and post-offer engagement activities.

Key responsibilities

  • Providing support to the National Talent Acquisition Lead in the planning, coordination and delivery of the student recruitment cycle and contributing to our ongoing early careers recruitment strategy
  • End-to-end candidate and application management in our ATS (Workday Recruitment) including online testing, review video interviews and shortlisting candidates
  • Responding to candidate enquiries via phone and email
  • Working closely with the Sydney & Brisbane People & Culture team and Partners to run and facilitate Assessment Centre activities, interviews and in-house events
  • Working in collaboration with the Sydney office lead to build relationships with key partners including student associates/societies, university careers services and accounting industry groups
  • Co-ordinate social media content for student society and university careers centres
  • Being a brand ambassador for Grant Thornton at virtual or face-to-face student events (please note, these may occasionally take place outside of standard business hours)

Skills & experience

  • Strong organisational, time management and prioritisation skills
  • A proactive approach to work and the ability to take initiative
  • The ability to build relationships and work as part of a team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experience using an applicant tracking systems or CRM
  • Prior experience in graduate or student recruitment is not essential, but an interest in developing a career in this space and an eagerness to learn are a must
