About the role

Queensland X-Ray (QXR) is looking for full-time Senior Radiographers to join our team and support our Townsville region practices. Our practices in the Townsville region offer a variety of hospital and community practice based work, with weekend and on-call shifts available. The salary ranges from $50 to $59 per hour.

This opportunity allows you to work across fully comprehensive private practices which offer services including General X-Ray, CT, Mammography, Fluoroscopy, MRI, Angiogram, BMD and Dentascan procedures, working in conjunction with our Sonography and Nuclear Medical departments.

You'll have exposure to a lot of variety in different modalities with the opportunity for upskilling and career progression

About you

  • Full AHPRA Registration and QLD Radiation Use Licence is required, with no limitations or restrictions
  • Demonstrated experience managing a busy general X-Ray and CT list
  • Experience using a Siemens CT highly regarded
  • Passion for providing excellent customer service and patient care
  • Exceptional time management skills with sound decision making under pressure
  • Work cooperatively and effectively within the team and actively promote a collegiate approach to problem solving and patient care in a positive work environment
  • Friendly, caring and compassionate nature with the ability to work collaboratively within a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Professional personal presentation
