The role

We're seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join the Crown Metropol Poolside as a Full Time Supervisor.
The Supervisor is responsible of managing the operations of Poolside Bar & Grill on a shift-by-shift basis in the absences of the Manager. The role also monitors and evaluates customer service levels and acts as an escalation point for frontline bar staff.
The role is required to assist the Manager in team participation, leadership, innovation, financial evaluation and business development, while ensuring optimum quality service to customers at all times.
In this role, you'll provide joyful dining experiences through your genuine care for guests. As well as:
- The position plans, organises, schedules and allocates the tasks and activities of the team
- Assist to achieve the successful implementation, development and maintenance of all operational procedures, standards and goals
- Providing operational support
- Assisting with financial evaluation
- Demonstrating leadership to team members
About you
You'll bring the following:
- Previous experience working within a Supervisory position
- A passion for hospitality and customer service
- Ensuring quality of service and customer service are always at a high standard
- Assisting with the training and development of staff
- Providing support when needed to front-line staff
- Assisting with the scheduling and rostering of employees
To be successful, you'll:
- Hold a current RSA and Approved Manager certificate.
This role requires:
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience within a customer facing role
- Experience within a fast-paced environment
- Sound written and verbal communication skills.
