Position Available:

  • Maths Tutor – Year 1 to Year 10

Stem Academic College is a leading provider of high-quality, face-to-face tutoring for students from Grade 1 through to Year 12. With growing demand at our Clyde North and Cranbourne centre, we're looking for passionate and committed Maths tutors/teachers to join our dynamic team.

About the Role:

We are seeking tutors who can help students develop confidence, problem-solving skills, and a strong understanding of mathematical concepts. You will teach small group classes across various levels—from primary school basics through to high school Maths.

What You'll Do:

  • Deliver clear and structured maths lessons in small group settings
  • Mark and provide feedback on students' work
  • Help students develop problem-solving strategies and study techniques
  • Communicate progress and concepts effectively to students and parents

What We're Looking For:

  • Completed VCE (Year 12) in Australia with strong results in Maths
  • ATAR score of 85+
  • Currently studying or completed a Bachelor or Master of Education (preferred)
  • Teaching experience in a classroom or tutoring environment (preferred)
  • Strong maths skills and the ability to explain concepts clearly
  • Punctual, reliable, and well-organized
  • Hold a valid Working With Children Check (WWCC) or VIT registration
  • Able to work after school hours and/or on Saturdays
