About the Role:

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Senior Bartender dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have high energy levels, a can-do attitude, and the ability to remain calm under pressure. They must be able to work both autonomously and as part of a team, ensuring a professional and enjoyable atmosphere during busy hours.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily operations of the bar, ensuring smooth service and customer satisfaction.

• Create and maintain a welcoming, energetic, and professional atmosphere in the bar area.

• Manage inventory, including ordering, stocking, and maintaining all bar supplies.

• Develop and implement bar menus in collaboration with the Head Chef, ensuring a diverse and high-quality selection of drinks.

• Train, supervise, and support bar staff, ensuring adherence to service standards and RSA regulations.

• Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, ensuring a positive resolution.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including all equipment and glassware.

• Monitor and ensure compliance with all health, safety, and hygiene standards.

• Manage financial aspects of the bar, including budgeting, pricing, and cost control.

• Report any maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions to the management team.

About You:

• At least 3-5 years of experience as a Bartender or similar role in a high-volume restaurant or bar.

• Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and train staff.

• Excellent knowledge of wines, spirits, and cocktails, with a passion for mixology.

• Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.

• Strong organizational and time management abilities.

• Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Relevant qualification in hospitality or bar management is preferred.

• Valid RSA certification is required.
