We are currently seeking a
Dragline Operators
at our Coppabella Moorvale Joint Venture (CMJV) Mine. Our CMJV mine complex consists of two open-cut mine operations located approximately 140 kilometres southwest of Mackay that produce premium low-volatile pulverized coal (LV-PCI) for export markets, with an extension of an additional pit at Moorvale South, adding to our coal production.
About the role:
As a
Dragline Operator
, you will play a vital role in Dragline operations to ensure production targets are met and exceeded while ensuring safe and effective production practices are strictly followed.
Key Responsibilities
- Safe operation of Dragline equipment
- Conduct and attend pre start inspections
- Monitor ground conditions and bench stability
- Follow dig plans and bench design
- Record operational data
- Performance of basic maintenance and fault reporting
The lifestyle:
This position is offered on a 7 Days On and 7 Days Off (Day only) roster and can allow for a residential (Moranbah or Nebo), DIDO or salary sacrificed FIFO lifestyle. Employees living residentially may have access to a $15,000 housing allowance.

We're looking for a motivated individual with a strong commitment to safety and teamwork. To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- Previous experience as a Dragline operator
- Ability to follow work schedules and adapt to changing priorities.
- A proactive approach to safety and quality in the workplace.
- Team player with excellent communication skills and ability to work unsupervised
- You are flexible with rosters and committed to contributing to a high performing production team
