The opportunity An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced and streetwear-savvy 2IC Assistant Manager to join our Pacific Fair location. This is a pinnacle retail role where you will be at the forefront of street fashion, not just following fashion trends but setting them.

Our store trades 7 days a week, so you must be available to work weekends and late nights on a rotating roster.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Store Manager in providing strong leadership and guidance to store staff.
  • Foster a positive and motivated work environment, encouraging teamwork and promoting a customer-centric culture.
  • Lead by example and train staff to deliver an outstanding customer experience, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Support the Store Manager in overseeing inventory, including stock levels, restocking, and visual merchandising.
  • Facilitate training sessions for new hires and ongoing development programs for store staff.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and operational guidelines.

Skills and Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a fashion retail management or leadership role.
  • Exceptional selling skills with a strong understanding of customer service — we don't just sell, we create long-lasting experiences
  • Ability to meet and drive sales and KPIs.
  • Strong operational skills with experience in stock control and visual merchandising.
  • A natural ability to influence, coach, and develop team members.
  • Adaptability to thrive in an ever-changing and growing retail environment.
