Salary range: $ to $ p.f. (L4-L9 or L10-L13 - *Level dependent upon experience and advanced qualifications.)

4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading

12.75% employer contribution to superannuation

About your opportunity

The Fellowship provides training in Adult Interventional Cardiology, including Structural Heart Intervention. This will include training in the Cardiac Catheterisation Laboratory, Inpatient care and Outpatient assessments. The training is primarily to ensure competency in Percutaneous Coronary Intervention. It is expected that the appointee will undertake a research project.

Requirements:

Mandatory qualifications and proof of registration

Appointment to this position requires proof of qualification and registration or membership (if applicable) with the appropriate registration authority or association.

A medical degree registrable with the Medical Board of Australia, and at least 3 years post-graduate clinical experience in hospitals - mandatory.

Completion of advanced training for the Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians, or equivalent.

Ability to undertake after hours, weekends and on call work.

This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role.
