Job Description: Role: Pharmacy Assistant Role Type: Full-time (or part-time if preferred) Location: Pharmacy 777 Mandurah Address: 4/10 Dower St, Mandurah, Western Australia, Australia Are you passionate about offering excellent customer service in the pharmaceutical field? Pharmacy 777 Mandurah is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual for the position of Pharmacy Assistant.

  • Assist pharmacy staff with day-to-day operational tasks, including but not limited to: stock management, inventory control and dispensary support
  • Prepare dose administration aids
  • Provide exceptional customer service by answering inquiries, offering product recommendations, and assisting customers with their needs
  • Perform cashier duties accurately and efficiently, ensuring smooth transactions for customers
  • Collaborate with the team to maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming pharmacy environment
  • Comply with all pharmacy policies and procedures, including proper handling of medications and adherence to privacy regulations
  • Contribute to the overall success of the pharmacy by actively participating in staff training and development programs

Requirements:

  • Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to convey information clearly and professionally
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills to ensure accuracy in dispensing and maintaining records
  • Basic computer literacy to navigate pharmacy software systems and handle electronic transactions
  • Flexibility to work a schedule that may include evenings and weekends.
  • Prior experience in community pharmacy would be beneficial.

Hours

  • up to 38 hours per week
  • may include some weekends and evenings
