IRAP Assessor – Permanent Full-Time | Sydney or Canberra (Hybrid/Remote)

We are partnering with a rapidly growing cybersecurity consultancy and SaaS provider that is looking for an experienced
IRAP Assessor (3–4 years)
to help expand their IRAP consulting practice.

This is an exciting opportunity to step into a pivotal role delivering high-impact IRAP assessments for both government and enterprise clients while contributing to the growth of a dedicated IRAP consulting arm.

What You'll Do

  • Deliver IRAP assessments for government and enterprise clients
  • Collaborate with leadership to build and scale the IRAP consulting function
  • Prepare high-quality assessment reports and actionable recommendations
  • Engage with stakeholders at both technical and executive levels
  • Contribute to methodology, templates, and client proposals

What We're Looking For

  • Current or recent
    IRAP Assessor accreditation
    (mandatory)
  • 3–4 years' experience conducting IRAP assessments
  • Strong knowledge of
    ISM, PSPF, and Commonwealth frameworks
  • Experience with
    cloud security
    (Microsoft 365, Azure, AWS)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Desirable: exposure to
    NIST CSF, ISO 27001, Essential Eight
    , consulting, or security architecture background
