About the role

EWP Onsite Service is seeking a full-time Elevated Work Platform Technician to join our team here in Bendigo. As an EWP Technician, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient repair and maintenance of our fleet of truck mounted elevated work platforms. This is a key role that ensures our rental fleet receives the highest quality service and support.

What you'll be doing

  1. Performing regular inspections, maintenance, and servicing of a range of heavy equipment including truck mounted work platforms
  2. Diagnosing and repairing electrical, hydraulic and mechanical systems in EWP equipment
  3. Maintaining detailed records of all work performed for equipment service logs
  4. Ensuring all work is carried out in compliance with relevant safety standards and regulations
  5. Collaborating with the wider team to identify opportunities for process improvements

What we're looking for

  1. Formal qualifications in mechanical, or electrical or a relevant trade qualification
  2. Experience in the maintenance and repair of elevated work platforms and heavy trucks
  3. Strong technical problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve complex issues
  4. Excellent customer service skills and the ability to effectively communicate with clients
  5. A commitment to workplace safety and a demonstrated understanding of regulations
  6. A current Heavy Rigid driver's licence and the ability to travel to worksites as required
