About the role

Australian Food & Fibre is searching for proactive and reliable casual Warehouse Machine Operators for our Narrabri Warehousing Operations. You need to bring along a positive attitude, a willingness to learn, and a work ethic to experience the diversity of working in the warehouse. The right applicant for the position must also hold a Reach Stacker and Forklift Ticket.

Responsibilities of this role include:

  • Operating the forklift for the safe stacking and sorting of cotton bales.
  • Operating the bale loader for the safe transport of commodities from trucks and shipping containers.
  • General labour tasks e.g. labelling bales.
  • Operating mobile packing equipment, packing seed and grain.
  • Participating in continuous improvement activities for the Warehousing department, ensuring best practices and procedures for handling cotton bales.
  • Maintaining a high standard of safety, hygiene and presentation of the Warehouse facilities.
  • Performing ad hoc duties and tasks at the Warehouse Manager's discretion.

Skills and Experiences:
