Dispensary Technician - TerryWhite Chemmart – Mayo's Northend.
TerryWhite Chemmart Mayo's Northend are looking for an accurate and efficient Dispensary Technician to join the team.
This role is full time, which may include a Saturday morning rotation.

What does a Dispensary Technician do?
This role is integral to the success of TerryWhite Chemmart being seen as the health advice destination and pharmacy of choice to our customers. In order to provide the best quality service to our customers, Dispensary Technicians are responsible and accountable for efficient and accurate dispensing of medicines and packing of dosage administration aids, and administrative support in the dispensary.
What's required to be a Dispensary Technician?
- Completion or enrolment in Cert III and IV in Community Pharmacy
- A precise attention to detail – a knack for administration is the key to success
- Proven experience in working with a broad range of roles and responsibilities
· You must have the right to live and work in Australia to apply for this job
Roles and Responsibilities
Reporting to the Dispensary Manager, the Dispensary Technician is solution focused and works 'behind the counter' to compile medicine orders for patients, manage stock and correctly follow all policy and procedure. Key responsibilities include:
· Replenish stock and coordinate stock movement into the dispensary
· Prepare prescriptions in a timely manner
· Pack Dose Administration Aids
· Attend all required meetings
· Promote TerryWhite Chemmart Health Service programs
· Make recommendations to customers at times, within your training level and experience
