Laboratory Technician(0.86 FTE, ongoing)
We are seeking a suitably qualified, experienced and enthusiastic Laboratory Technician to join the Science Learning Area in a full-time capacity, during term time.
This role is essential to the safe and efficient operation of the College's science laboratories and supports the delivery of high-quality, hands-on learning experiences for students. The successful applicant will be responsible for preparing and maintaining materials, equipment, specimens and solutions required for practical lessons and demonstrations. Working closely with the Senior Laboratory Technician and the Science department, they will contribute to a collaborative and professional learning environment that reflects the College's commitment to excellence and innovation.
The Science Laboratory Technician plays a key role in ensuring that practical activities are conducted safely and effectively, in line with current educational standards and safety regulations. They will also assist in maintaining laboratory facilities, managing stock and resources, and supporting staff in the implementation of curriculum-based experiments and demonstrations.
