We are seeking a passionate and experienced Mathematics Teacher to join our growing team from January 2026. This full-time, ongoing position offers a rewarding opportunity to teach Mathematics from Years 7 to 12, with the purpose of equipping and developing students with strong mathematical understanding, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
This is more than just a teaching role – it's a calling to educate with purpose, inspire deep understanding, and nurture young minds within a Christ-centred learning community.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Teach Mathematics to Years 7–10 with strong curriculum knowledge; deliver ATAR and General courses for Years 11 and 12.
- Develop, review, and refine teaching programs and assessments to improve learning outcomes.
- Employ diverse teaching strategies to cater to varied student needs, including remediation and extension.
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate academic records.
- Support students' study and organisational skills and provide pastoral care for their holistic development.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues and contribute to a positive, well-managed classroom environment.
- Communicate regularly with students, parents, and school leadership through reports and meetings.
- Participate in cocurricular programs, school events, house activities, and uphold the school's Christian values by integrating faith with learning.
Essential Selection Criteria:
- To have a personal commitment to the Lord Jesus Christ and be an active member of a Christian Church.
- To accept the Association's Statement of Faith, Code of Conduct, Foundational Statements of Belief and Educational Objectives and be living a lifestyle consistent with these statements.
- Capacity and experience planning and teaching Mathematics courses to meet student need and course objectives 7-12.
- Commitment to quality relationships with students, staff, parent and the wider community.
- Passion for an area of interest(s) that you have and are willing to share to develop the whole child.
