Chinova Resources is a privately owned Australian resources company, part of the Shanxi Donghui Group of Companies. We are seeking a highly motivated Paramedic/ERT Advisor on a 6 month fixed term engagement to join our small on-site Health, Safety & Training team. This role is based at Osborne Mine, 130 kilometres south of Cloncurry.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Registered Paramedic/ERT Advisor, specialising in ERT Training to join our HST team at our Osborne Mine, sharing Chinova values, and our commitment to safety and the environment.

This role includes

  • Operating and maintaining the medical facilities and assets onsite to ensure a timely, coordinated, and professional response
  • Providing relevant medical training and coaching to members of ERT in line with Cert III Mines Rescue Certifications
  • Facilitate occupational health and medical programs including health promotion and education targeted at dust monitoring
  • Providing support to the HST team to include incident investigation
  • Undertake safety performance analysis, reporting preparation and delivery of safety communications

About you

  • AHPRA registration as a Paramedic with no restrictions
  • Minimum qualification Diploma of Paramedicine
  • Cert IV in Training & Assessment updated version 40116 and Cert III Mines Rescue
  • Be proficient in the delivery of RII competencies relating to Mines Rescue Cert III
  • Experience in the provision of rural or remote medical services
  • Demonstrated experience in first responder or emergency medical care
  • Current open manual drivers' licence Current National Police Clearance

Experience with INX modules (InControl, Site Pass, InTuition) would be advantageous.

This is a fixed term opportunity that offers you a work-life balance with an 8/6 roster Tuesday-Tuesday.  FIFO options from Brisbane or Townsville to our Osborne aerodrome by private charter.

You will be permanently allocated your own room in our on-site village which offers ensuite accommodation, free Wi-Fi, wet mess, BBQ facilities, tennis court and swimming pool.
