We are looking for a Store person to join our bustling Industrial branch in Townsville, on a full-time basis. Working with quality products from leading brands including JCB. You will be able to enjoy a variety of work within a dynamic environment.

OUR COMPANY

Honeycombes Sales and Service is an established Australian owned company and leading distributor of Agricultural, Lawn & Garden, Trucks, and Industrial machinery. Over the course of 110 years, our team has evolved to encompass seven (7) full-service branches throughout North Queensland, supplying and supporting our customers through industry leading products and innovative solutions.

We believe in making it easy for customers, so they can focus on what they do best.

Alongside our main operations, we have Honeycombes Powersports - a place passionate about fuelling the local region's thrill-seekers. We offer motorcycles, SXS's, and power tool equipment from leading brands including Honda, Suzuki, and STIHL.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED

  • Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential

  • Sound administration skills

  • Current forklift ticket is preferable (although training will be organised for the successful candidate if required)

  • Organised – Ability to be organised and independently co-ordinate your time and responsibilities.

  • Solid communication skills

  • Co-operation – The ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team.

  • Energy and Enthusiasm – We want dynamic and energetic people that love what they do and always look to put their best foot forward

YOUR NEW ROLE - RESPONSIBILITIES

Some of your duties and responsibilities will be:

  • Managing incoming freight and receipting of stock

  • Responsible for levels of stock control, including presentation and cleanliness

  • Regular interaction with customers, colleagues and suppliers

  • Participation in stock takes
