We're seeking a compassionate and skilled Youth Refuge Caseworker to join our dedicated team at City Limits Youth Refuge in Geelong. This is your opportunity to make a meaningful impact by helping vulnerable youth transition into safe, sustainable housing and build brighter futures.
About the RoleAs a Youth Refuge Caseworker, you will:
- Provide trauma-informed, youth-friendly case management to young people aged 16–20 experiencing homelessness.
- Support residents during their stay and for up to three months post-exit, helping them build life skills and access education, training, or employment.
- Facilitate transitions into safe, long-term accommodation through tailored support and collaborative care planning.
- Contribute to the day-to-day operations of the refuge, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment.
- Work both independently and as part of a passionate team, responding to complex situations with sound judgment and initiative.
- Ongoing position
- 1 FTE working 38 hours per week
- $101,032 p/a + Super + Salary

We value individuals who bring empathy, resilience, and professionalism to their work. To succeed in this role, you will have:
- A relevant tertiary qualification in Social Work, Youth Work, Welfare Studies, or a related discipline (minimum Diploma level).
- Demonstrated experience in case management with vulnerable young people, including assessment, planning, and exit strategies.
- Strong understanding of youth homelessness, trauma-informed care, and frameworks such as Best Interests and Advantage Thinking.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- A current Victorian Driver's License.
