Gaming Attendant

Position objectives:

• Act as an ambassador for the hotel at all times
• To provide a consistent and high quality standard of gaming service to all clients
• Ensure policies and procedures are adhered to relating to customer service, cleanliness and personal development
• Maintaining accountability, a positive work environment and being an integral part of a strong, supportive and professional team
• Work closely with management to achieve high quality service, presentation and delivery to all guests

Principal Responsibilities:

• Ensure excellent and professional client service at all times
• Knowledge of the gaming industry and environment
• Communicate and liaise with management in order to upkeep the highest level of gaming service
• Follow gaming legislation. standards and procedures
• Adhere to responsible service of alcohol and licensing provisions and standards at all times
• Ability to work in a team based environment
• Be aware and understand the hotel Work Health & Safety (WHS) policies and procedures
• Develop and maintain high levels of service within the hotel, particularly within departments, on a daily basis
• Proficient in the professional service and dispensing of a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
• Good conflict resolution skills
• Courteous, welcoming and informative
• Involved in the service of a variety of functions requiring gaming or beverage service
• Establish good professional relationship with existing and new clients
• Have a good understanding of all departments within Hotel to be able to sell to the inquiring customer
• Cash handling
• Strong and effective communication methods with management and staff
• Consistent and professional delivery of our products such as wine service, tap beer and food offerings
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and / or Safe Work Procedures (SWPs) for all areas of the hotel at all times
• Any other duties directed by Management
