Assistant Store Manager – Barbeques Galore Albany

Perfect. You might just be our next Assistant Store Manager at Barbeques Galore Albany.

You don't always need years of management experience to take this step – if you've got the passion, the drive, and the energy to lead by example, we'll back you with training and development to help you shine.

About the role

As ASM, you'll be the right hand to our Store Manager – helping with day-to-day operations, coaching the team, and making sure every customer leaves with a smile (and maybe a new BBQ).

What you'll be doing:

  • Working side by side with the Store Manager to keep the store humming
  • Coaching, guiding, and building up your team's confidence and skills
  • Jumping in with customers to deliver outstanding service
  • Keeping an eye on sales targets and helping the team smash them
  • Making sure we're safe, organised, and living the Barbeques Galore values every day

What we're looking for

  • Retail experience (management experience is great, but not essential)
  • A natural leader who loves motivating and inspiring others
  • Strong communication skills and a customer-first mindset
  • Organised, proactive, and ready to roll up your sleeves
  • A genuine love of BBQs, outdoor living, and creating great store results
