Clever Cubs Early Learning Centre in Smithfield, NSW is seeking a talented and dedicated Diploma Educator or Early Childhood Teacher to join our vibrant team.

About the role

In this full-time role, you will play a crucial part in providing high-quality early childhood education and care to our young learners. With a focus on creating a nurturing and stimulating environment, you will work collaboratively to support the overall development and wellbeing of the children in our care.

What you'll be doing
  • Plan, implement and evaluate engaging, age-appropriate educational programs that align with the Early Years Learning Framework
  • Opportunity to support our Educational Leader or take on this responsibility
  • Observe, document and assess children's learning and development, adapting programs to meet their individual needs
  • Build strong, respectful relationships with children, families and the wider community
  • Ensure a safe, clean and well-organised learning environment
  • Actively participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities
  • Comply with all relevant legislation, policies and procedures
What we're looking for
  • Hold a Diploma or a Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood) or equivalent
  • At least 2 years' experience as a Diploma Educator or Early Childhood Educator
  • Experience or motivation to work as a 2IC strongly regarded
  • A current working with children check and first aid certificate
  • Demonstrated experience in a similar role within the early learning sector
  • Strong knowledge of early childhood development and educational best practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children, families and colleagues
  • A passion for nurturing and empowering young learners
  • Flexible, adaptable and committed to continuous improvement
