The Position

As a Maintenance Planner, this role is responsible for the effective and safe planning, scheduling, and coordination of all maintenance activities. The core focus is to improve equipment reliability and alleviate the current pressure on the maintenance team by establishing and driving a robust preventative maintenance program. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Develop and implement the PM program and plan using data analysis to ensure optimal equipment reliability and performance
• Manage the full work order lifecycle in the CMMS (e.g., Epicor), efficiently scheduling jobs and coordinating the availability of resources and spare parts
• Maximise equipment uptime and asset life by leading reliability analysis and driving continuous improvement across maintenance processes
• Lead and contribute to major shutdown works and effectively collaborate on project teams for successful execution of capital and operational projects
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and generate/interpret KPI reports to track performance and support data-driven decisions

About You

We are seeking a candidate with a professional, courteous, and proactive attitude who is ready to take ownership of this vital function. You must be responsible, reliable, and able to prioritise a varied workload. The ideal applicant will be looking for a long-term career opportunity and will possess the following skills and qualities:

• Relevant Mechanical Trade Qualification (e.g., Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade or equivalent)
• In depth experience with industrial process equipment and competent in maintenance management and planning
• Must be strong with systems (CMMS like Epicor, SAP, Maximo, etc.) and willing to rapidly master our processes
• You will be joining a highly experienced team of fitters. You must be a good team player who is happy to learn from the long-tenured team members as a way of fostering strong, respectful working relationships
• Must be vaccinated against the Q-Fever virus or be willing to undertake the vaccination process upon commencement
• Previous work experience in Manufacturing and Food Processing would be advantageous
