About Us

Rosmech Sales & Service is a well-established national presence in the street sweeper industry with its head office based locally in SA. We are a leading independent supplier of specialised truck mounted and compact road sweepers known for our commitment to innovation and quality.

We are seeking mechanically minded individuals to use their knowledge coupled with on the job training, encouraging broader skill sets, growth and development of our future team as we continue to build more sweeper trucks.

About The Opportunity

We are expanding our crew and so we currently have permanent full-time positions available for keen, enthusiastic, and self-driven people to join our dynamic assembly team.

Opportunities are here for persons with the following skill sets: Mechanical fitter and turners, Assembly fitters, Accessory fitter, Heavy vehicle body builder and Trade Assistants.

Attitude is also important to our business; therefore, we have a strong focus on highly motivated self-starters with a 'can-do' mind-set and who enjoy working in a close-knit friendly team focused on continuous improvement. You'll be working on brand new, top of the line equipment in a clean and tidy environment based at our Salisbury Plains Workshop. The permanent full-time position will report to the Production Manager and some of the core duties of this position include:

  • Assembly of new machinery

  • Fabrication and vehicle modifications

  • Assembly, modification, and fitment of the 12V/24V automotive electrical components and options on new machinery.

  • Fault diagnosis and rectification

Great What are the key requirements for a successful applicant?

  • Have proficient mechanical and fitter knowledge

  • Demonstrated abilities with hydraulic and pneumatic components

  • Ability to use power tools and MiG welding techniques

  • Be able to work autonomously whilst maintaining a company driven focus

  • Have a Driver's License

  • Display a sense of urgency, reliability and punctuality in their work

  • Be neat and tidy, take responsibility for own workspace and be safety aware

  • Have strong team player approach

  • Work with a solutions mind set

  • Pass a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol assessment
