Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain Disaster Recovery Standards for the organisation.
  • Manage and uplift the Disaster Recovery process for critical applications / services both in a Cloud and an on-premises environment.
  • Collaborate with both key stakeholders and the IT Leadership team to develop and execute a Disaster Recovery Testing Calendar
  • Maintain the Disaster Recovery Runbooks for all critical applications / services.
  • Guide the development of Disaster Recovery strategies for critical applications to ensure recovery in the event of incidents like application failures, Data Centre outages, or Cyber related events.
  • Manage the recovery of critical applications and services in the event of any incidents that require Disaster Recovery to be implemented to recover the services.
  • Manage the IT compliance program.
Essential Skills and Experience:
  • Previous experience as a DR Manager
  • Excellent analytical skills to process vast amount of data and produce meaningful reports using tools like Power BI, and MS Excel.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management and presentation skills.
  • Sound knowledge of disaster recovery frameworks such as ISO 22301/27031 and/or other frameworks.
  • One or more Disaster Recovery certifications (EDRP, DRCP, CBCP) would be advantageous.
  • Good technical writing skills.
