The Opportunity:

An exciting opportunity exists for an Occupational Therapist to join our team in Wollongong and Nowra, to assist and deliver therapeutic services and assessment services under the NDIS and other health jurisdictions.
Our team works with participants across a range of schemes including NDIS, community aged care and private capacity, both in their home or in clinic.
About the role:
With growth and expansion of our team and service offering, we are looking for an Occupational Therapist with experience or interest in one or more of the following areas:
- Prescription in minor or major home modifications
- Equipment and assistive technology prescription
- Functional Capacity and Activity of Daily Living Assessments
- Environmental and housing needs assessments
- Manual Handling Training
- Ergonomic Assessments
- Mental Health
- Safeguarding
- Self-care, mental capacity, pressure care, falls and mobility assessments
- Therapeutic intervention to increase community participation, executive functioning and completion of activities of daily living
We understand you may not have been exposed to all the above areas of practice or worked in the NDIS space; however, we have an opportunity for you to develop skills in these areas if this aligns with your goals and professional development plan.
Additionally, we will welcome your skills, interests and previous experience in other schemes of Occupational Therapy.
The ideal candidate will have an interest or background in delivering community and clinic-based services across NDIS and age care settings.

The successful applicant must have:
- Current registration with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist
- Current Vehicle and Drivers Licence
- Demonstrated strong verbal and written communication skills, with a proven ability to build and maintain rapport.
- Obtain or be willing to obtain a Valid NDIS Worker Screening Check, Police Check and Working with Children check
- Meet vaccination requirements for health workers under the Public Health Order
