This project is based within the Snowy Mountains in NSW and will deliver one of the largest pumped hydro schemes in the world.

Snowy 2.0 is the next chapter in the Snowy Scheme's history. It is the largest committed renewable energy project in Australia and will provide on-demand energy and large-scale storage for many generations to come. What You'll Do
  • Champion WHS systems and ensure compliance across construction activities.
  • Mentor crews and support teams in delivering safe outcomes.
  • Conduct audits, inspections, emergency drills, and incident investigations.
  • Lead onboarding, inductions, and competency assessments.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, clients, regulators, and subcontractors.
  • Promote a proactive, positive safety culture across day and night shifts.
What You'll Bring

Essential:

  • Certificate IV in WHS (or equivalent)
  • Construction Induction Card (White Card)
  • Valid Driver's Licence
  • 3+ years in construction/tunnelling safety roles

Desirable:

  • ICAM, Internal Auditing, Training & Assessing
  • Experience on major infrastructure projects
  • Underground excavation knowledge (TBM, drill & blast)
  • Regulator and client liaison experience
