Are you a practical, purpose-driven Senior Civil / Design Engineer who wants to make a real-world difference?

Join our client's Emergency Response Management (ERM) team – a dedicated group of Civil Engineers and Designers working across Queensland to rebuild essential infrastructure and community assets after natural disasters. From site inspections to design and delivery, you'll be part of a close-knit team driving outcomes that truly matter.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Delivering full lifecycle civil infrastructure projects under the Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements (DRFA).
  • Conducting site inspections, damage assessments, scoping, and design.
  • Supporting construction delivery and liaising with local councils, contractors, and government stakeholders.
  • Working across a broad range of community assets – from roads and drainage to parks, heritage sites, and sporting facilities.
  • Depending on your experience, either leading or supporting projects, mentoring others, and contributing to a collaborative, high-performing team.

What You Bring:

  • 8+ years' experience in civil engineering
  • Experience with DRFA, local government, or infrastructure recovery projects highly regarded
  • Proficiency in software such as 12D, Civil 3D, or similar.
  • Drainage and Flooding design expertise - highly regarded
  • RPEQ
  • A calm, resilient mindset and a passion for making an impact through practical engineering.
