Terminal Operator – Perth Freight Terminal

Every day, Pacific National moves the goods that keep Australia moving – from intermodal containers to coal, steel, and bulk commodities. We're now looking for a safety-focused, hands-on Terminal Operator to join our team at the Perth Freight Terminal.

This is your opportunity to be part of a high-performing team that plays a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient movement of freight across the country.

What You'll Do
  • Operate Internal Transfer Vehicles and Reach Stackers
  • Perform shunting and train examination duties for train arrivals, departures, and marshalling
  • Inspect trains and equipment during operations
  • Maintain security and housekeeping standards across the terminal
  • Uphold Safety, Health & Environment (SHE) standards at all times

  • Flexibility to work a 24/7 rotating shift roster (including days, nights, and weekends)
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
  • A current motor vehicle licence and solid mechanical aptitude
  • Customer service focus and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
