Where you'll be workingWhat you'll be doing
  • Registered with RACP as an advanced trainee or equivalent. Those registered with the RACP must have successfully completed written & clinical components of the FRACP examination & preferably completed a minimum of 6 months as an advanced trainee with RACP or equivalent at commencement of the Provisional Fellow role.
  • Advanced communication skills, including the ability to convey, and adapt verbal and written information to a clinical and non-clinical audience.
  • Advanced clinical skills and judgement, with the ability to make sound decisions and problem solve with an awareness of limitations and ability to learn independently and modify behaviour accordingly.
  • Ongoing commitment to further education and professional development and demonstrated ability and willingness to teach medical students, doctors in training and other health professionals.
  • Understanding of research methodology or research experience and a willingness to undertake a research proposal.
  • Demonstrated contribution to quality improvement, patient safety and clinical governance within the hospital e.g. participation in committees or representation on behalf of the hospital.
